Terms
Last updated 15 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Ninma (run by Karrar Zayiadi, [email protected]) when you use the service. By creating an account you accept them.
The service
Ninma lets you keep a shelf of books, start or join book clubs, pick books together, share your reading progress with your clubs and chat about what you read. It is free. We may change or stop features, and we'll tell you ahead of time when a change affects you.
Your account
You need to be at least 16. Keep access to your email, Google or Discord account safe, since that's how you sign in. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
What you write
What you write (messages, names, club names) stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the people it's meant for, such as the other members of your club, so the service can work.
Fair use
Don't harass people, post anything illegal, share other people's private information, or try to break, overload or get around the security of the service. Club owners and admins can remove members from their clubs. We can remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
No guarantees
We work to keep Ninma running and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of mistakes. Book details come from Open Library and may be incomplete. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses; nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect; if you keep using Ninma afterwards, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where Ninma is run, without taking away the protection of the consumer law where you live.
